EXACTLY. While I'm glad we blew this fuk up, or vaporized him or whatever, nothing has changed. They don't want to all of a sudden want to "kill us more", they want to kill us just as much today as they wanted yesterday, NOT killing him doesn't solve anything either.
If I had to choose between NOT blowing him up, and blowing him up i'd definitely blow his ass up.

It is a good symbolic victory for the US/UK that gives them some good press for a few days but in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter. There will be a new dude ("Jihadi Jack") chopping off some Westerner's heads on video in a few months and the cycle will start again.

Yeah I agree 10000%, ultimately though we can't do nothing, though I wonder what would happen if we did nothing? Like just completely pulled out of there.
