Magic was injured and missed almost the entire finals, Bird was also going through some injury issues with bone spurs in his ankle and even had to do surgery for it the following season, Jordan's supporting cast was too raw and not yet ready to complement him. The moment they got better, Isiah and the Pistons got swept away to irrelevancy. As for him beating Kareem, Kareem was damn near 40 and was a walking geriatric skeleton at that point.

As for the Pistons being past their prime. Isiah was 29, Dumars 27, Rodman 29, Salley 26, Aguirre 31, Laimbeer 33.

Everyone is ancient when Jordan and his boys get up in that ass. :mjlol:
Kareem wasnt on that Laker squad when the Pistons won

It’s not about age. It’s about consecutive Finals trips. It’s about Isiah wrist and post the ages of Vinnie, Edwards, Henderson if you gonna post ages.

It was a new era. In ‘91 the Bulls were just the far better team. It is what it is.

Dont disagree but you can't ignore them beating the Bulls thrice before they finally got over the hump and closed their chapter. That's why Zeke can legit pop shyt.

So 1 year after going 7 with the Bulls they all of a sudden became geriatrics and could no longer even win a single game? The reason why they got swept is because
  • The Bulls had perfected the triangle and Jordan became harder to pin down
  • Pippen got considerably better and was playing extremely well throughout the 91 playoffs
  • Because Pippen came better and Grant became better, and because of the triangle, the Jordan Rules became obsolete.
And I posted the ages of all their most relevant players. You're trying to make it seem the Bulls swept them because they had become washed after only a year. You'rre deluded.

nikka Isiah beat MJ, Magic, Bird and Kareem :what:

What other superstar can say that?
yeah when they were old celtics(funny how people use this on jordan beating the pistons but never on them), injured and also old Lakers(kareem was 41:mjlol:) and a Bulls team where MJ still pushed them with a not yet mature Scottie. Plus it was the 80s you really want to hype up 80s legends like Larry and Magic:mjgrin:

You nikkas flip flop like IT on the GOAT, when it comes to discussing the 80s One moment such and such 80s team/players was this and that then next yall saying it dont mean shyt because it was the 80s.
and yall only do the latter when it pertains to Jordan, and the usual suspects being you contradicting Lebron stans

He pretty much saying if the rules today were in the 80’s he would have won more. So even then he shytting on his era
no hes just boosting himself more and throwing extra seasoning on his resume of what he did in a era where the league was more big player orientated. Not shytting on it

WHILE true, Pistons were also worn from their playoff wars with the Celts, Bulls, and Lakers. Works both ways.

End of the day he is the only one who can say he got the best of Mike. No other major NBA superstar can say the same

Isiah out here shooting under 40% and getting outscored by Dumars who took the toughest defensive opponent. Michael out there alone and nikkas talking about he beat Jordan...

Lakers
Bird averaged 42 minutes a game that Finals. Mchale 30. Kareem was 40 years old literally.

Nobidy tryin to hear this bullshyt :russ:
:francis: I hate the Celtics and I don’t give a fukk if their hoe asses were injured but they were injured breh.

And I don’t think LA would’ve gotten to 7 against Detroit in 89. Detroit was hungry Pat was starting to push the team away.
