Mad I didn’t snatch up tour tickets here in Cincy. That shyt sold out the 2nd day.

I’m a big Zay fan. Cilvia Demo = Sun’s Tirade to me. Both great in their own right, and both appearing to me at an appropriate time in my life. Maybe I’m a corny nikka forcing my life plot to fit in with this nikka’s discography, but I feel like this hits everything I’m needing right now. Every single song on this gets burn. Some a lot more than others. But I’m down with this a lot heavier than I thought I would. Maybe I’m becoming less expecting of my favorites. Or maybe the rap landscape around let’s me let nikkas that don’t make murder music slide a bit more.

And once you learn the lyrics to some of the songs on here, and you can slur that shyt along Zay lmao it carries a whole nother vibe. This dude wild

Some thoughts after a few days listening…

-5 years worth the wait and Zay delivered. AOTY thus far. His best and the best produced album of 2021. A mixture of smooth summer vibes with some heavy Chattanooga, Tennessee bangers. Zay has one of the best flows and cadences in the game. The way he approaches some of these tracks are flawlessly unpredictable.

-Darksied is an excellent intro. Dope beat even without drums, I run it back at least twice every listen

-From The Garden with Uzi is a banger and probably the on3 song where Zay clearly outshines the feature artist. If they kept the OG instrumental it probably be my favorite track.

-RIP YOUNG. Certified banger and a standout. Instant gym playlist addition. Love the hook.

-All the women killed their guest spots but I think iamdoechii had the best one out of all of them the way she just rode that beat. First time I’m hearing Amindi but the collab gave Me Vinia Mojica/Rawkus collabs vibes.

-SZA AND ZAY DONT MISS

-At the missy flow on THIB. Instant classic kinda reminded me of find a topic on TST

-YGTUT & Zay reunited and delivered.

HB2U was classic Zay with a hint of Cudi vibes. Great album closer.

Looks like he’s gonna do 45k first week. Over twice as much as Sun’s Tirade first week. Pretty impressive given the wait, and more proof he’d be way bigger if not for the way his career was derailed. Still has time to get bigger…gotta drop again in two years, no excuses.
