Two of those players and a pick is enough.

I don't mind keeping the picks. Just wanted us to get a rebounder for the year. Unless he believes that Zizic is the answer.

And people keep talking about how we're 2nd in the East and that is true. But it's not like we have 12 game advantage.

And the fact is that Washington, Toronto & Atlanta all made moves to improve their teams for this final stretch and Ainge did nothing. Better hope he gets a gem from the buyout rack or there's some type of natural improvement coming

It's very real that we could fukk around and be a 4/5 seed again

I've disagreed with you a lot over the past few days, but this post is a 10000% true. There was an arms race in the east and Danny Ainge sat with his thumb up his ass. Even some marginal help would have been nice. We've had a rebounding deficiency for god knows how long and he didnt address it(maybe he tried but :yeshrug:)

The 2nd half of the season will be telling.

I feel like Ainge is the type where he wants to go all in on a big trade and if it doesn't work out then he doesn't have a backup plan

Sounds about right.

I have a feeling that we'll see a big deal on draft night.

The Celtics were not interested in giving up significant assets for a 25-game rental player who would most likely be a reserve playing limited minutes.

In addition, the Celtics were hesitant to break up a core group that’s playing well despite key members of that core being limited or unavailable for long stretches altogether.

Regardless of the rationale behind standing pat, the Celtics will be criticized in some circles for not making a deal that would have better positioned them to make a run at Cleveland or better solidify their standing as the No. 2 team in the East.

But just like when they stood pat last year, the decision puts the onus on the players and the coaching staff to step up their games.

Danny Ainge’s decision to keep this group intact speaks to some degree about the confidence he has in them to continue to get better.

Blakely: Celtics make a healthy choice in standing pat at the deadline

Must win tonight. Can't let Toronto take the H2H tiebreaker

Bradley still limited in practices but I think Jaylen should be ready

Ibaka first game,ACC gonna be lit...

Haven't won in Toronto in nearly 2 years. It'll be tough, but like I said it's a game that could have significant implications on seeding. We got screwed out of homecourt by tiebreakers last year
