Yeah. It's a valuable pick but it's in a PG-laden draft. The 2018 pick is, in my eyes, the most valuable pick between them. The 2018 draft is supposed to have lots of top prospects who are 4s and 5s. I say we deal the '17 pick for George and build with the '18 pick OR trade the 2018 pick in the summer.t.

Can't blame Ainge for Butler. Chicago still unsure if they want to move on yet and rebuild.

This reasoning still doesn't make any sense. The addition of PG-13 without losing any major player makes a lock for being a top 2 team in the East and a genuine challenger to the Cavs. Moreover, we'd still have the 2018 pick which is only going to become more valuable over time. And we got even more draft picks owed to us in the next 2 or so years, on top of our own.

I'm not buying it.

I'm hoping the ONLY reason he dropped the ball on that one was because he's committed to bringing in George (and possibly even Bogut). But it's getting harder by the minute to keep that hope alive.
