It's too bad cause I'm a strong believer smart should stay and Bradley should be traded but this can't be helping Bradley's trade value

I'd basically try to do Bradley and Zeller with picks for butler and tab Gibson

It's frustrating too because Avery's value should be at it's highest ever (he still is a first team All-Defense player) and he demonstrated his improved offense earlier this season.

We'll see what Danny decides but things will be shaken up.

"Boston’s success is fueled in large part because of the steady play of those around Thomas, something that was on display in Thursday night’s 120-111 win over Portland.

Thomas had a game-high 34 points, but Marcus Smart filled the stat sheet in several categories while filling in for Jae Crowder (family emergency), who was not with the team.

Boston (34-19) also got a strong game from its second unit, led by a near double-double from Kelly Olynyk (13 points, 7 rebounds)."

A lot of guys have really stepped up as of late. its pretty impressive.

Jaylen seems to be improving every time i see him. If he develops a consistent outside shot :ohlawd:

Before the season, Brown told reporters that he was ready to "rip someone's head off," which sounded amusing in part because he is a generally thoughtful, soft spoken guy. But as it turns out, Brown might actually be ready to decapitate an opponent -- he is hyper-aggressive seeking out contact, and as his skill set progresses, his strength will allow him to continue to find ways to finish through it.

Any of you brehs go to the game at the Garden on Sunday?

That place was a madhouse. Might have been the GOAT experience i've had at a Celtics game.
Nah man I should have gotten tickets. Could have been my last time seeing Paul Pierce play live. :wow:

"The NBA recently added "hustle stats" to its tracking database. Thumb through and you'll see Smart's name everywhere. He's the Celtics' leader in total loose balls recovered (48) and deflections (143). He leads Boston in contested 3-point shots (162) and, among the team's guards, he is tops in contested shots overall (319)....Smart's base stat line won't turn heads -- 10.1 points, 4.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals over 30.8 minutes per game -- but he's made tremendous strides as a point guard and has given the Celtics exactly the ball-handling bench-presence they so desperately needed when Evan Turner cashed in with the Blazers last summer."

Marcus Smart more valuable than you think to Celtics

I think that's meant to be in reverse order

Bradley has hurt his value big time

Well it's not like he wanted to be injured :usure:

But I think he certainly has more individual trade value than all of those players/picks listed except for the #1 Nets pick in this draft (when healthy).:hubie:

Between him smart and crowder?

It's crowder to me, he's signed 3 more years at 7 million a year which is one of the five best contracts in the league... perfect 3 and d guy

Wish Bradley was an inch taller

Apparently our top 5 trade assets are:
5. Marcus Smart
4. Jae Crowder
3. #3 2018 Nets pick
2. Jaylen Brown
1. #1 2017 Nets pick

Boston Celtics Top Five Trade Assets

Definitely don't think Smart has more value than Bradley

A guy who can give you elite defense, give you 16-18 PPG while hitting the 3 at a 40% clip, crash the boards and is still only 26 would be extremely valued in the league

And he missed a combined 11 games in the previous two seasons, he's had one nagging injury this season

Yeah but, contract aside, Bradley is simply the better player.
