Not so much, Wolverine was originally and usually depicted as an ass kicker but based on his popularity he gets used in all kinds of stories and based on his status and power set he’s an easy character to use as “enhancement talent”.
Any time a writer wants to show a new character off, they have him fight or beat Logan because his power set allows him to take it and come back without dying and the new character gets instant cred for taking out a beast.

Cap is clearly the better fighter, but Logan could kill cap, and I dont think cap is capable of killing logan.
I'd have to go with wolverine winning a fight due to the fact that captain America isn't strong enough to kill him.

Cap is a superhuman soldier with above average fighting skills, reflexes, etc.
Wolverine is a killer... hunter... assassin. With superior strength, healing, instincts, smell, reflexes, and like 100 more years of experience, a heavy ass skeleton (he weighed over 300lbs with the body shape of a 220 cat and the reflexes of a 125lb cat)..

He was listing "Street Level" Heroes. Spiderman is the apex Street Level Hero but that doesnt mean he's a better fighter. Just like how Cap is a better fighter than Logan but Logan would eventually beat Cap because of his powers not his fighting ability.

Luke Cage is basically a 425lbs 6'6" solid block of titanium. Wolverine's claws can cut him, but he's not strong enough to sever a limb or impale him all the way through in one strike. He'd have to hack away at him over and over like a woodsman to a tree. Luke is not gonna just sit there and let him chop him in half for 30 minutes. He'd toss him into the bushes with one hand by then.Even you know that ain't true.

He fought in all the wars while Captain America was frozen, he a way better soldier and fighter.
He was suppose to be a good fighter who couldn't fukk with the real powerful mutants, it would take this nikka weeks to recover from getting his ass whoop by sabertooth, now he regenerates like T-1000, when his healing factor didn't work like that before, them garbage x men movies fukked up the character too, Wolverine use to be near death after being shot up, now he can instantly recover lmao, survive nuclear explosions and shyt lmao
Captain America started was never suppose to be a power house, the super serum made him PEAK physical condition for a human being, not a superhuman. He should not be able to fight Iron Man in his suit, Captain America can get hurt by bullets, and Iron Man got lasers missiles and guns, its ridiculous
