i will say even though he wasn't technically the best rapper, his music was in CONSTANT rotation during that era. it was the first time the ungerground rap became the mainstream. dude took cash money from a local indie label to the biggest in the world. and he made some bangers along the way.
wayne and curren$y are still working together on the low spitta still got the underground and wayne holds down the mainstream
but why do they smoke so good? and why is weed so popular stealth?
why do people act like Dedication 3 didn't exist
terrible fukking mixtape
CMR was an underground label before Wayne hit it big on C2? that's the craziest shyt i ever heard. i guess Eminem was underground up til TES?
the Hot Boys didn't hit it big because of Wayne, they sold 400,000 copies of the first Hot Boys album as an underground act/label. the Hot Boys, Juvy & BG were the big hitters before Weezy even had a solo out. they had sold like 12-15 million albums before the current version of Wayne started hitting the chartsbirdman and slim wasn't doing shyt with cash money before the hot boys
UNLV?
