Is Vikings better than Spartacus?

Better question is...Spartacus vs Game of Thrones...I haven't watched one second of Game of Thrones..but the stand out moments of Spartcus are legendary..the psychological shyt...lol

Uhhh....while they can be compared, I almost feel like they shouldn't be.

They both got dope action (Spartacus more so) but toward different ends.
They both got dope dialogue (majority of GOT gets the nod) but toward different ends.

Like Spartacus was legit on a shoe string budget to the point where you almost wanna trash it the first couple eps, but something happens once you get past the bad CG, you get roped in and never let go. Comparing that to HBO level production is kinda lopsided and doesn't really weigh as much as you'd think.

I'd have to know a persons taste before I'd recomend one over the other. Overall I might personally give it to Spartacus for wrapping it up pretty tight.

Still waiting on last kingdom movie to finish the series not even a damn trailer dropped yet and it’s been a year since filming has been done

I dont know last kingdom storytelling aspect is on some other shyt for me but Spartacus fighting is god tier also
I have to rewatch Spartacus but I have rewatched last kingdom and that shyt is really high on my list for tv series

I do agree s4 being the weaker season but I still really enjoyed it also

Spartacus > Vikings> Last Kingdom…breh in LK got way too much plot armor. And LK was slightly more corny and less serious than Vikings..

ironically I bailed on spartacus twice…I couldn’t make it past the first 2 eps which looked so cheap but folks insisted I stick with it…easily became one of my most enjoyable shows to marathon…the episode that made me realize ok I’m absolutely gonna stick with this show is when him and crixus teamed up to beat the “giant” even tho crixus got fukked up pretty badly during that fight

I remember when the criticism was that Spartacus was the cheesy, mindless show and Game of Thrones was the serious, high-brow drama.

Only for Spartacus to end up having the better ending

Spartacus ain’t on Game of Thrones’ level. It’s significantly better than Vikings tho.

Game of Thrones was my life for a period. Read all the books. Read all the theories online. Read all of Obarth's posts lol. I would say Game of Thrones has higher peaks but, it lost the right to condescend to Spartacus when they failed to end the series properly. It's like your mans getting a B all year long and you scoring 99% all year but, then you fail the Final and end up with a B too. If you talking the first six seasons, then its a superior show. They just really failed the ending which is unfortunate because even YA stories like Harry Potter and Hunger Games had better conclusions which makes them enjoyable to watch again whereas GOT has little replay value. They really flunked that shyt.

I stopped Vikings on season 5, been meaning to go back.

Ragnar is the best thing about Vikings to be honest. Travis did a good job, even with the little ticks and whatnot that he added to the character

ya I like his character…I’m glad I made the decision to hold off on watching the series when it aired…I prefer marathoning this show which makes it better to watch at my pace…I would not have enjoyed watching this on a weekly basis…there’s just not always a whole lot packed into an episode

I find it hard to believe any kind of show similar to Spartacus will be better than it. Only one close is Rome.

Spartacus is amazing. Been meaning to rewatch it again, but keep getting flooded with other shows/movies. I even started the first 5-6 eps but stopped.
