• Lowry, arguably the best signing of the offseason, who's still one of the league's best PGs; bringing championship-empiricism and whose style of play and mettle embodies the Heat culture. He brings all the abilities and intangibles that they were previously missing.
• Herro taking the next step in becoming a premier 6th man, and putting last season's woes behind him
• PJ bringing experience and a defensive moxie to a team that has been without
  
• Bam coming into his prime, and primed to be a go-to scoring option
  
• Butler ready for an MVP season, and putting the last piece of the puzzle in place at 32.

I don't think the Heat will have better conditions than this to win a title for the foreseeable future. All the pieces are there and they're ready to win: they've got a balance all throughout the rotation, a blend of youth and experience, from the starters, all the way down to Morris, Dedmon and Oladipo. Defensively, they'll be without a rival, and they've got enough half-court scoring, shooters, and playmaking at the other end to handle the altitude of the postseason.

They've been on the cusp over the last couple of years, but now they're legitimate contenders. It is truly championship or bust for them.

And let's be honest here, they've been a great PG away from being contenders, anyway. That's what has been the missing ingredient for them. They've got that now, and have added other pieces that complement the rest of the team.
