at some point you have to stop saying women don't get it and wonder what it is about 'hip hop head' music that women aren't connecting with. it's not like when they listen to the dance party music that's particularly catered to them in terms of lyrics either, it's just the music they can dance to

I think with artists like J Cole women can probably connect with him as much as men can.. it's not that he's not rapping, it's that his content is more normal rather than just tales of selling drugs and hitting dudes with icepicks
