I don't understand why Kennard gets 22 minutes a game. He's shooting 50%/47% and they gave him a decent sized contract.

If Lue doesn't like him enough for whatever he's running, why not trade him? He would probably have pretty good value.

Our much bally-hooed and so called "depth" is ruining Ty Lue. He doesn't know which way to turn and is still tinkering and experimenting with line ups three months into the season. PG & Kawhi in and out of the lineup. Too much terrible small ball lineups. Wall not really panning out, Reggie and Morris are long past their prime, and kids like Boston and Diabate need to play but its too many old heads in front of them on the depth chart. I'll be shocked if this team can put it together and make a run past the all star break

Among their problems is a lack of speed and athleticism, which doesn't get talked about much. Seems weird to say that about a team with Kawhi and Paul George but it's true. Those guys aren't the same and they were never burners on the court.

I'm expecting them to make some type of consolidation trade at some point.

Its the starters surrounding them. If Reggie and Morris don't score they up sh*tty creek cause they do nothing else in the game. The problem is that they're too ingrained in the offense and rotation. Wall has been woefully subpar. Zu is solid. We young athletic big, Moussa Diabate, that can switch on defense and guard positions 1-5 and rebound. He's perfect for what we need right now but they still have him getting reps in the G League so far. They don't turn this around is play in tourney time if that

Diabate looked like a young KG defensively at Michigan, I like his potential a lot. He's gonna wind up being a steal for them.
