Im not really buying the Kawhi noise but the other major free agents is the reason why I thought we might be active to clear space ahead of free agency (Whiteside, TJ, possibly Dragic). If it comes down to getting a commitment from somebody and then trying to make math work with a trade, other teams might not want to help us out..but still a couple of weeks before July.

Btw, assuming he isnt traded we can probably forget about locking up Winslow for cheap after tonight's fiasco. I wouldn't be surprised to see him bet on himself and price himself out.

Eh, we were active tonight, no one bit though. Bucks are probably looking to try to snatch Dwight for cheap rather than paying for Whiteside especially if it means they keep Jabari as insurance.

Maybe we get Duval to sign with us on our summer league team and we can groom him too. As much as I love Dragic, I think we need a legit playmaker to groom our young ball-handlers.

Waiters stays healthy and solidifies the 2 spot.
BAM making that leap.
TJ lives up to his contract ()
JJ goes back to his 2016 self.
Justise turns into Kawhi-lite.
A$AP Rich makes first or second team all defense.

Whiteside’s stamina and motor ain’t high enough to be a DPOTY. He’s got great shot-blocking instincts and timing but his lack of mobility / positional awareness is still lacking. I think it’s possible we can move him but it’s gonna either cost us a lot or a really desperate team like the Mavs

I do think Waiters helps this team. He’s a dynamic offensive player and we are severely lacking in those.

TJ is...I think we’re stuck with him. He’s not a bad player but he’s an undersized combo guard on an insane contract. We’d have to pair him with a pick to get rid of him and I don’t think he’s worth it.

Winslow averaged 11ppg on good percentages after the all star break. Hope he continues to improve
