I remember a few years ago (before the max deal) I heard rumors Heat would have been willing to move Whiteside for Horford. And then in the summer of 2016 when they were both FA's and Wade had yet to leave I think it was his pops that was saying there was mutual interest with the organization. I remember looking at a young Whiteside and thinking what the hell would they want with soft ass Horford I couldn't have been any more wrong. Whiteside can't hold his jockstrap, and he would've been the perfect player for what Spo likes to do.

I was watching the lebatard show, and Mike Ryan made a point about a healthy Bosh being valuable against Philly. Horford did everything Bosh used to do. Bosh would've filled that horford roll for us, against embiid. Horford played Joel smart, as opposed to whiteside.

Spo runnning small ball lineup had Simmons who can't shoot for shyt looking like an all star.

Small ball is what ultimately got Boston past Philly. Spo gave whiteside enough minutes against Philly. Whiteside has his flaws.

#2 After everything the Pistons gave up for Blake Griffin, which included 2 starters, a backup center, a 2018 1st round pick and a 2019 2nd round pick, exactly why do you think they'd be willing to get rid of him so quickly and for that package?

I dont see why everyone is still on that WhiteSide disappearing act in the playoffs. It was his first playoff appearance ever and he was matched up against a superior player. We love watching him go at Embiid in the regular season but lets face it Embiid and WHhiteside arent in the same class

I wonder what they have in place for Wade when he hangs it up. And i really wanna keep Juwan Howard in the organization long term but i feel that someone will eventually give him a head coaching job within the next 4-5 years
