weird spot WWE is in with DB

Stick to your guns and let him walk and he's an instant player that can name his price, dates and get that merch money wherever he goes.

Or let him work but convince him he doesn't need to do dives and wild shyt anymore.

He's like Austin was in 1997. .. after the neck injury dude did a thez pres, kicks, corner stomps and a big right hand for the most part during his apex and no one cared.

Daniel is a legend now. .. he can just play his hits and people will eat out of his hands. Those hard Kicks and submission holds would be more than enough.

Right, I still have no idea why he's trying to keep up with Seth, and them with all those dives. he's talented enough to do a match with technical skill and yes chants at this point.

I still think WWE is going to keep him by offering him a Undertaker like spot with extremely light schedule as wrestler and he ultimately changes his style because otherwise WWE is giving up a major player to other feds and that's not what they do unless there's a no compete or some type stipulation that works out in there favor.

Agreed. Bryan could eat well on the current roster as the anti high flyer. He's so technically skilled that he could do the yes kicks and work over a body part or two, trying to get that submission all match and would easily blow the roof off nightly. All that top rope and suicide diving is highly overrated when you have everybody from the 205 Live guys to Dean Ambrose and even Big E doing that shyt nighly.

Vince played himself. Bryan is down for whatever Vince has for him, because once the contract is up he can wrestle the next night; no 90 day clause or legal shyt.

I must caveat my statement by saying everything is based on the assumption that his initial diagnosis was incorrect or misunderstood and he can in fact wrestle.

I think they overplayed their hand with him and this whole situation.

I'm assuming they thought the money was enough and he would be cool with the check for doing nothing. Given the latest news that has come out, that's definitely not the case. What's crazy is they could have probably kept him pacified for a good while with a Taker schedule.

If they ever let him in the ring again, they're going to have some 'splainin to do given their initial reluctance (to the point of making him retire) combined with them let other high risk guys compete.

It will undoubtedly make matters worse if Bryans smart enough to realize that if they ever try to get him in the ring, it will solely be motivated by $$$. Hopefully he is and doesn't sign even if they beg him to wrestle a full time schedule.

To me the most interesting scenario would be if D-Bry is able to stay healthy during 2019 when he's working different places, making a difference drawing wise for a lot of promotions and having good matches. Would WWE really let other companies eat like that for a long period of time?

Granted, there's no guarantee Bryan wont get injured again - if it's not another concussion, it might be his neck - 3 or 4 months after coming back to wrestle but IF he can work a decent schedule and starts making buzz in different places it's gonna be interesting seeing if WWE panics and offers him a deal to wrestle for them again. They didn't do it for Angle even though he was able to give TNA it's only profitable year (s?), but that was a different time and D-Bry will do it for at least 3 different companies (New Japan, ROH and CMLL) if everything goes perfectly for him .

Pretty sure once he leaves they will wash their hands of him. Vince has already been sued by the feds once you think he wants in on these CTE lawsuits :mjlol:
