Sorry, you wont catch me on thecoli pushing 50, I've always been able to move on, whether it be, video games, rap, NFL,MLB I barely watch sports after playing basketball and baseball for 14 years. I only follow the lakers and that's watching highlights on youtube.

What you are failing to realize is, this isn't about age, it's about information and diverse opinion. If you have already set youself up to disengage from the youth because of some boundary you have set up. You are failing yourself. That's like saying when I turn 50, I will no longer talk to my son or daughter who's 25 or try to enlighten some young mind with your wisdom. You chose to wilt on the vine and I just can't see myself ever disengaging.

Here's something for you to consider: I won't know what the next generation is going through if I don't actually interact with them. This is the most efficient (and effective) way to gather that information. This is also how I can help them get through stuff I've already experienced, for better or worse. That's what is missing in our community nowadays. The 'Older Gods' passed their lessons down to my generation, I'm just paying their contributions forward so they are not forgotten or misinterpreted.
