When you listen to a rap lyric by Drake or Future or any other popular mainstream artist and they say "East African" they are NOT talking about any woman darker than a lunch bag. If you believe that they are referring to a dark skin Sudanese woman then you probably pop more molly & percocets than Future fans.

That was the point that I was trying to make. I understand that there are brown and dark women in East Africa...duhh, there are brown and dark people damn near EVERYWHERE in this world. We as East Africans aren't defined by what rappers say. You are being quite obtuse. Popular culture does not get to dictate who we are. That's just ignorant people being ignorant and those who subscribe to their views and uninformed. You have been told by East Africans what it is. Imagine if I came in here and I said that when I'm speaking to African Americans I don't refer to any people of a certain hue or region within the United States as an outside how would sound? There as just as many dark Ethiopians women as lighter if not more. Who lied to y'all?

I wasn't trying to define you or any other E.Africans. I just know that there are people on the coli who are not learned on Africa, its people or its culture so I was just commenting that the OP should be more specific because people here (and lurkers) will not give full credit to ALL of the beautiful women from your region.

I don't care how YOU want to use the word. There is something called GEOGRAPHY. Egypt is in North Africa. To say Egypt is East Africa, is to essentially say there is no such thing as NORTH Africa.

Stop trying to redefine words that people commonly use to fit your narrative. Egypt is located in a region called North Africa not East Africa. No one has ever said that before other than your dumb ass.
