And I've already went back in forth with nikkaz about the definition of snitching and cooperating.
And what bun b did is simply cooperating, which is still frowned upon in our community for some odd reason.
But anyone's choice to cooperate should be a personal one, depending on your personal views. Nobody else should care at all.
Especially since you're not a criminal ratting someone out to save your own ass (snitching).

With all that being said....
This is one of the reasons why I personally do NOT cooperate.

I've done dirt, doesn't mean I was a bad person.
I've seen bad things happen that if you knew the whole story and had understanding, maybe you might feel differently about the situation.

I couldn't see myself talking to police pertaining to something that was committed against me.
I couldn't see myself getting on a stand to put a young man a way.

It just doesn't feel right.
We all have our personal views on these situations. No one is right or wrong.

Him recounting the events had nothing to do with the kid going to jail. But either way, consideration for “putting a young man away” goes out the window when you forcefully enter my home and threaten my wife fukk ‘em.

There's a reason why a person is speaking at the sentencing hearing.
They gonna take alot of things into consideration when they sentence that ass... Including the victim crying on the stand talking about how the situation negatively impacted their lives.

That might be the difference in 10yrs.

I personally don't look at these young black dudes as my enemy. They all could be my nephew or my friends son's.
Im not getting on the stand at all.
Whatever the judge want to give him based on the evidence, then that's what it is.

He went through a traumatic experience in which a intruder held his wife at gun point and he had to use force to save his family. Any human with emotion will show it when they re-live that moment. I think his emotions were from a place of anger more than anything tbh.

People work hard to have what they have, and some folks think it's okay to just try to take it
