It's a lot of factors in play that stem from the wealth gap and racism etc....and the way the culture processes/deals with the issues as well.

Why ain't the suburban black kid hustling at a garage start up business to get a chance at extra dough? Why ain't the suburban black kid getting some quick works at a friend's parents construction business doing the entry level work of sweeping and moving a wheelbarrow?

Ok... I know how this will sound
And I've already went back in forth with nikkaz about the definition of snitching and cooperating.
And what bun b did is simply cooperating, which is still frowned upon in our community for some odd reason.
But anyone's choice to cooperate should be a personal one, depending on your personal views. Nobody else should care at all.
Especially since you're not a criminal ratting someone out to save your own ass (snitching).

With all that being said....
This is one of the reasons why I personally do NOT cooperate.

I've done dirt, doesn't mean I was a bad person.
I've seen bad things happen that if you knew the whole story and had understanding, maybe you might feel differently about the situation.

I couldn't see myself talking to police pertaining to something that was committed against me.
I couldn't see myself getting on a stand to put a young man a way.

It just doesn't feel right.
We all have our personal views on these situations. No one is right or wrong.
