Black people will be receiving reparations. But we will not be receiving reparations and then going back to live how we live now.
We are a lawless and confused people. We are sick in the head. We lack respect for authority. We are entirely confused about who we are as a people. A purging and cleansing must occur first. We aren't getting money so we can go lay up in whoredom, abominations, and pork.

We're never going to get reparations, because two things that are never going to happen would have to occur
1. The government officially apologizes for slavery. This will never happen because they are not going to officially admit that slavery was wrong.
2. The government actually gives us money. Besides all the problems that would happen with this process, white people aren't going to support giving Black people "free money" when they don't even want us to get government assistance when we need it.

our generation comin up now really don't have faith in the system. Even the people who aren't awake realize the politicians & big business are shady.
Anyone with a clear understanding of European's history clearly recognises that the only way to gain reparations is through violence. These are a bloodthirsty group of people who have shown their obvious disdain towards non-violent methods of resistance throughout their entire history. But violence will never happen because in 2015 black men are literally scared to death of white men... and for good reason.

No matter how much I wish that to happen, majority of Americans and Blacks who live in this society believe that slavery was a minor issue(even though 100 million of our ancestors were murdered)
This may not happen in our lifetime but probably changing America's perspective of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade and the Negative Effects it had on Africans in the New World may be a good start.
Though the likelyhood of this happening are slim mainly because we are dealing with a people with no conscous

Boycott white owned businesses and see who blinks first. Black people have a lot of spending power. We only make up 13 percent of the population but purchase 20 over percent of the goods that are sold in this country. Stop buying and hit them in the wallet.
