Sometimes I find theirs one that has a good year or 2 but for the most part they just aren't clever enough for longevity.

I tend to find male comedians funnier than female comedians, but strangely there are way more comedic actresses I find infinitely funnier than their male counterparts.

it's all about relating to the subject matter... some nikkas hate steve harvey, his base loves him cause they are just like him. men gonna like men more.. the jokes hit more. women tend to love women. blacks love black comedians. whites can't get enough of theirs

it's the old martin vs seinfeld argument. you can make a great case for either one. but you more likely voting on the show where the comedy related to you the most

i bet if you asked most women who was a funny female, they'd have a list of names that we'd shyt on

In pieces there’s funny black comediennes. There’s NONE outside of that tho. Just complete vulgarity and trying to sell that for a whole hour

But then again, ask yourself how often you’ve had a SUSTAINED convo with a non family female and it was hilarious for the most part. I’ve found women that are cool but they ain’t meant to be funny, at least not to us

I had zero expectations going in and by the time I was done I was highly impressed (hopefully that doesn't sound as condescending as it did typing )

Baby Cobra is a borderline great special. Not an all-timer, but definitely a "if you genuinely love stand-up, you have to watch it" level special.

I agree. My exact same thing I was thinking. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I figured a damn full-fledge pregnant woman, an asian one at that, doing stand up was definitely something I'd never thought of or seen before, so I'd give it a lissen. Definitely felt she was legit hilarious afterwards. Yeah, not a classick, but a solid 8.25 outta 10. I'd go see her live to be real about it.

Actually, there was one female, some white lady, who's name I have no idea of what it as, was really funny that I saw live in person at a comedy club out here like 6 years ago.

I agree with this, despite that I definitely don't just auto-fall into that relatability list. There's comedians that I felt had I shyt in common with, whether it be race, background, hobbies or whatever that I thought was just hilarious as fukk. Bill Burr, Jim Jefferies, Tom Segura and Jim Gaffigan are all hilarious to me, yet I have practically nothing in common with any of them.

Back to the thread topic...yeah, not too many females I've seen in a good while that I've dug their comedy stand ups like that. I think Tiffany Haddish is funny in movies and shows, but I haven't seen her on stage yet. I did like that Ali Wong's as mentioned earlier tho.
