I guess you can make the case that the house party/class act writers and creators were color struck. They portrayed the light skinned kid with these sterling qualities: intelligent, honest, kind hearted, good natured, respectful etc, while the dark skinned play was written as a devious, over sexualized, morally repugnant, dishonest fukkboi.
This was consistent all throughout the house party/class act series of films. The dark skinned girl in HP 1 was decidedly less pure and innocent than the character Tisha Campbell played. The goon in class act was dark skinned. Karyn Parsons, the object of Play's affection was exceedingly bright and innocent, and the dark skinned actors in the HP series generally ranged from grimy to low class in the characters they portrayed...
Tisha Campbell in the bedroom scene from part 1 everytime i see it haha.
That red dress, i was young but I WANTED her badly haha.
That battle scene, so refreshing, still very cool.
Yep.They were kinda brolic breh.
1) Kid is getting his ass whooped in the cafeteria of Part 1 and Play sits there, with his head down, hiding from Wedge and the goons...This bytch was hiding from FULL fukkING FORCE????? A BOY BAND???!!!!
Needless to say, Kid got his ass beat pretty bad
I agree with everything but this. Let's not act like Play was hiding from the Backstreet Boys or something
I was going to say the same thing Full Force would give the beats to 80% of the rap game. These nikkas was "Bout that Life" They were willing to run dude over, beat him with bats, and even though only one was cool with burning down the house you know the other 2 would have fallen in line.
Paulie from Rocky, signed all his money away to an accountant who lost it all in an embezzling scheme. Rocky should've killed him
