Remember Play was the one who made sure to round up the crew and get Kid out of jail right before he was about to get the Tom Duboise treatment. Play felt bad about the situation with Kid having to drop out so he sold his car to make sure Kid got to stay in school. Play also made sure that Kid and Angela made up so they could get married.
