Basically the Coli is one of the only forums that is controlled by Black men, caters to them, and accommodates almost everyone (to some extent). So while there is the racist, incel, misogynistic, etc. aspect, part of it is not that this is what defines the Coli, but the Coli is a big tent for BM online.
If BM dominated the Internet, the Coli would not exist. TLR would split in two with one half being a Black 4*** and the other being a Black bodybuilder.com type site, JBO a Black porn forum, The Coliseium, Arcadium, Film Room, and the Root would all be separate forums or subreddits catering to different crowds.
But most of the Internet is hostile to even moderate conversation on Black issues so we have collected here in a community of sorts and the distribution of personalities is WIDE as hell. Some people deserve to be banned but the loss of the site as a whole would be more harm than good.

Would the inverted equivalent of The Coli be a country and western site that was stuck in the old days and was peppered with casual racism, elitism and any other kind of ism you can imagine?
Thats pretty wild when you think about it, isn't it? But then its all a matter of perspective in that respect. Either way its interesting because if you flipped a lot of talking points here they'd be nigh on identical to a WS site.
And yet its still the realest site on the net because so many others have the message "You cannot post until you have drank this much Kool Aid" and are full of groupthink and people saying what they hope others expect them to comment. That in itself is super weird but seems the norm for most of the web with its dream selling and total detachment from reality echochambering.
