Is the theory that Ross was a dirty C.O. farfetched?

So cuz a broke criminal got on a track for a popular rapper, thats spose to be gospel?

Rauce probably cut a check. :francis:

Edit: was that Jarule in a pic :dahell:
Yeah, that's Ja Rule. It was some type of program at USP Coleman II that he went to back in 2006. They tried to get Trina and Rick Ross to come to, but they never showed up.

The Boobie Boys - Gorilla Convict
“I decided to reach out to the homie Ross again and share these jewels,” Chico says. “When I got shipped to USP Coleman II in August of 2006 the administration had a program in existence, which allowed outside guests to come in and network through workshops and conferences with prisoners. I immediately got on board. I supported everything positive. During the planning of one of these programs we reached out to Ross as well as a few other southern rappers. We wanted to invite them in and sit across the table and dialogue. All attempts failed. I had spoken directly to the homegirl Trina and she agreed to support the program and bring some people with her. For whatever reasons she couldn’t conclude her arrangements before the deadline of the show. Long story short, the show went on. The next time pretty much the same thing happened. No feedback from Ross and no confirmation on Trina. It was a shame. We’re right here in the south and we couldn’t get a southern rapper to accept an invite. I don’t understand how a rapper can claim that they’re hood, street or represent a struggle when they won’t even recognize the essence of what they’re saying out there.” It’s all good in a video, but reality is a different story.

“Within these prison walls is where they all fish for characters. It’s not a secret.” Chico says. “I suppose though that it’s okay to throw your line from a far, but ain’t nobody trying to come step foot in the water. It’s crazy. That is, up until we extended our invite way up to New York. Ja Rule accepted and came through. Chaz, the CEO of Black Hand Entertainment brought a crew with him. In our eyes behind this wall they’re the realest nikkas out there claiming the struggle. Respect to my nikka. It wasn’t until I sent Trina pictures of me and those dudes in here that she got really excited. I explained to her about the necessity to dialogue with Ross. Dude never showed. In all fairness I never spoke to him directly, so I don’t really know what the business was. Trina’s schedule kept conflicting and before long the administration canceled the program.” That’s the real deal there, no bullshyt, from the pen to the streets.

Some of u really need to go listen to Hood Billionaire. It's hard to call Ross a fraud after listening to that album, a liar maybe, but a fraud he is not
Bruh Boobie Williams is sitting in jail cell doing football numbers for murder and running a violent criminal enterprise. You think he won't make up shyt vouching for Ross when Ross is his lifeline and owes him for the help he gave his music career?

Those interviews on Hood Billionaire mean NOTHING. lol@yall taking it seriously. Do you realize that Boobie literally compared Ross to CARLO GAMBINO?

:deadmanny: :deadmanny: :deadmanny:

He said that. He said Ross is a boss just like the head of the most powerful Mafia family in America. That statement alone should disqualify anything he said on Hood Billionaire from being taken seriously.

oh most definitely. like i said im not saying Lupe was involved but I wouldn't put it past him aswell. Besides Chief Keef no one ever questioned Lupe's credibilty, even though he barely flaunts it

this is the paperwork on one of the dudes Chilly (Charles Patton) name all over it. I think there was one specific on Chilly though

http://www.illinoiscourts.gov/r23_orders/appellatecourt/2011/1stdistrict/january/1071683_r23.pdf
Lupe wasn't involved...

If he was, then he snitched...Simple...Anybody caught on the wire doing dirt will be dealt with, especially if he is a famous rapper...FEDs either flip you, or you do the time...

The document you posted supports my opinion...Who ever was caught on the wire with Chilly, flipped on him...Dude corroborated most of the stuff that was caught on tape, and Chilly was convicted fair and square...If Lupe was caught making deals, they would be cell mates now...

Yeah because anonymous criminals never lie. :beli:

The only people who vouch for Ross' criminal past are people who have a vested interest in eating off Ross, such as Boobie Williams himself. As your article even pointed out, a lot of people in Carol City say Ross didn't even really know Boobie. And other members of the Boobie Boys have gone on record saying Ross was just a little dude. His baby mama said he was a nobody who wasn't involved in any crime.

I think the most logical conclusion is Ross is just a dude from Carol City who could rap and knew/was friendly with people in the drug crew that ran the area (the Boobie Boys) and once he got into the rap game, they supported him and allowed him to rep the name so they could eat together. They lend him credibility, he gives them a percentage. That's same narrative of a whole bunch of rappers and it's far more likely than this conspiratorial "the truth is far more sinister" shyt about him being like Matt Damon in The Departed at some shytty Miami jail.

First of all nobody in miami ever claimed rozay didn't know boobie unless you're talking about that fake as shyt with the invisible babymama.
You nikkas love to speak on shyt you have no idea about. We really listening to his trifling babymama who basically lied about most of the shyt she spoke about homie. First of all when she met him he was a established local rapper name rick ross and he was was hanging with hardened criminals and he was the same nikka he was now. Same socalled drug dealer wannabe hanging out with actual drug dealers.

You keep bringing up dude's having vested interest like a nikka from your neighborhood supported you are you supported them. Is he getting extorted that's for them to know and for you to not know.

But ask yourself why the fukk would a young burgeoning rapper jump out the window and become a CO.

All of these job description available and this nikka just said fukk it I'm going to become a CO. Knowing dam well that that shyt will come back to hunt him. Knowing dam well that the streets be talking. The squarest individuals ain't even trying to do that line of work at least not at 19.
