I guess it could work. After a Punk/Rock WM match (with Punk going over), Ryback, who will probably be part-time in the bushes at that time, can go after the Rock next. He can blame him by saying that it was essentially him (Rock) who was fukking with his title opportunities by having the Shield go ham on him week after week. This would eventually lead to a blow off match at Summerslam.

I think it would be stupid too, but Dwayne hiring The Shield to keep the title on Punk would be interesting as long as they carry out Punk/Dwayne to WM. I don't think a double turn would necessarily work in this case either.

Maddox would just be there for when he screwed over Ryback and after that, Dwayne threw him to the bushes. He is sort of the odd man out.

For sure. Don't get me wrong I'm not down for Dwayne or B-Mad aligning with The Shield, just humouring the "what if" that was presented cause you never know with the E and their silly swerves.
