I hope they're not working with The Rock but him being the Mastermind behind them would make sense because Rock said he wasn't leaving and by them carrying out his orders it's like he's been here since HIAC. It makes too much sense for it to actually happen though

I think removing Brad Maddox from The Shield would be great, and is inevitable.
They destroyed Randy Orton after one of his matches, but they've did the same for other folks as well. That's the only link between them we've even seen.
Plus, Maddox has been getting that Drew MacIntyre de-push, but instead of wrestling to keep from being fired, he's wrestling "for a contract," which explains why he's still allowed to show up and get put in jobber matches.
