yea I doubt a movie studio would ok the use of real crime scene photos of non-famous people in a movie knowing the possible legal trouble they could get into

I think Clockers and The Wire have some writers or producers in common, but both are inspired by reality. Clockers was NY in the 90's. The Wire was and STILL is Baltimore.
