All of this.That’s my most favorite ending I’ve ever seen. That’s good what happened. I love how they made it even worse by showing the lady who left the store in the middle of the storm one of the ones who was rescued
I wish more movies ended like this instead of all the happy endings we get. Sometimes the villains need to win or bad things need to happen so you can appreciate the good ones more and keep it fresh and exciting. I love how the Avengers Infinity War had the movie theatre completely silent at the end. Would have loved to see The Mist in person.
It was a perfect ending to this kinda horror movie. It's horror...you shouldn't feel good at the end of it. It should stick with you, because if not, was it really that scary if you already know everything is going to end ok?

okay you called me out because i definitely took my date to see this in theatersI seen it in theaters.
I've mentioned this before but I guess a bunch of people were under the obviously false assumption it was a date movie. You know, horror = date movie, since the 80's.
This sh*t was clearly not a date movie.
In the theater lobby afterwards it was full of awkward couples....girls crying and yelling at their boyfriends"why'd you take me to see this f*cked up sh*t?"....men all standing there like

Oh btw, they made a TV show but it was TERRIBLE.
The movie had flaws but it was good… especially the ending, which probably made it cult classic status.
Show was terrible though… probably more in line with Stephen Kings weird ass books
