4 rings for a dude with his resume would mean you would have to look at putting him in the top 10. The problem is whose he knocking out? Bird? Kobe? Every top 10 player has a FMVP and the way he’s playing this year looks like he‘s about to go 0-6. So he’s in a tough situation…

Calling the past 7-8 years a dual era is fine, the Warriors as a team will be remembered for defining this stretch as much as Bron, and Steph is the catalyst for that. LeBron had a whole era before Steph made an All-Star team, let alone won an MVP or title so it's disingenuous as shyt to act as if they've been equally yoked for the same amount of time...

I’d bet you never made this argument before 2011.

Nobody cared about Finals record before LeBron, you know this. All that mattered was that you won it all and how many times...

This will affect Lebron the most because he team hopped. Steph Warriors is a reminder of the old school eras of teams being built comparable to Spurs/Bulls/Celtics/Lakers. Steph also stayed with one team and the expectations of him to be a GOAT for anything wasn't there.
Steph went to an organization that was smart and competent and worked to make things happen for him from the jump….Bron did not….. you cant apple and orange comparison two people careers that were nothing alike….

Bron HAD to make moves to get rings…steph had that support from the beginning, is what it is…..but thats not a slight to Bron.

(Also Steph has NEVER been who Bron has been in the playoffs and finals….how man finals mvp’s does steph have?….I’ll wait)

TYRONE GA!
But nobody was referring to it except for you
And if Steph gets a 5th, are you going to say he's a Top 3 player or all-time or is this more agendas disguised as neutrality?
If he gets 5 with 3 of them against Bron, it’s just gonna get spooky.

Again, I’m coming from the angle of Bron being behind Mike. No for me.

Still taking Cap and Earv over him easy.

Still on this corny Mt Rushmore but not GOAT or even #2 for me.

In no sport is someone with a losing record in championships considered goat status. But as far as Curry vs Bron, Steph would have to get 5 for me

Since you're hypothetically giving two championships to Steph, where would Bron sit with you with 6 chips?

Curry doesn't have the resume to be compared to Bron in terms of career all-time. Reached his prime too late, too many injuries.

Plus his peak was clearly not at Top 5 OAT level as seen by his disappearing acts in the Finals at various points.

Bron on the other hand is universally accepted as the second best player ever. Curry won't ever be considered that.

Universally accepted? Go outside :mjlol:

why do you act like kobe didnt leverage his stardom and didnt threaten to leave the lakers for the bulls in order to light a fire underneath the lakers FO?

Kobe has a terrible finals appearance vs the 04 pistons. no one would take curry's legacy over kobes.

Because even if he did get traded to a gutted Bulls team that’s different than joining Wade, Bosh, kyrie, love and AD :mjlol:

All Kobe wanted was Luol Deng :mjlol:

1 - I said “IF” he got 5 then you have to have the convo as far as him and Steph

2 - If Bron was 6-4 with his accolades…I wouldn’t fight anyone calling him the GOAT :hubie: in the NBA

KAJ is the basketball GOAT considering his whole hoops career from high school to UCLA to NBA

NEW ERA
I think winning 4 chips with 3 teams in the matter of one decade is highly impressive and something harder for people to replicate.
He moved and terraformed each team to his liking as LeGM. Many players could probably replicate that sort of success if given that sort of power. Not to take anything away from Bron as its still an impressive feat, but no other superstar player has played with as many sure-fire HOF'ers like Lebron has.

Lebron James is an ABCDisneyESPN product.
His entire career has been a marketing schtick to get the next "face of the league."
Don't get me wrong, he's good, but from showing his high school games on ESPN, to the Decision, to the Heatles, to returning to Cleveland, to LA, to Space Jam, to his corny commercials, to Bronny and him inevitably playing together in NYC, the league has done everything in their power to make him something that sells.
In a sport where players are marketed more than teams, you need to promote players.
They've been saying he's the goat since he was in high school, it's just been a 20 year long commercial.
IDK, some people are cool with it, they're gonna defend him tooth and nail because they have no soul and don't realize they're being gamed, but at the end of the day Steph has cooked his ass multiple times and had bigger moments on a bigger stage with a more organic team.
How many teams has Lebron been on?
1? 2? 3? 4? gonna 5 before it's all said and done.
Kobe, MJ, Steph? 1 team each (you want to count the Jordan Wizards, that's fair, but he definitely didn't go to a stacked team looking to win a ring, and before you say he couldn't have back then because it wasn't the super team era, nah, look at what GP and Malone did in that era at the end of their careers.)
To anyone that actually watches basketball, Steph shyts all over Lebron, but this site is more for people that like shoes and fashion than people that watch ball and they got ABCDE cock so far up their ass they don't know up from down.
