Exactly. I really hate the fact that he made this concept of Wrestler=Superstar. Some wrestlers just want to do what they love and bounce, not become a sports figure which is odd to me. Like Vince hates the idea of wrestling being more of a "sport", yet he calls it "sports entertainment". He don't want wrestlers to go into business for themselves (recognize by sports media like ESPN *ala the yes chant*), yet got ESPN on the payroll. I'm not understanding all of this

This is why NXT should be just developmental and not a full blown promotion, or if it's a full blown promotion...keep it like that. The whole concept of getting the belt/losing the belt/ getting signed to the big league is messing with the wrestler's psyche because of a different kind of booking. Its not like sports where it's all training and so forth, this is a fake sport that relies on good booking. NXT should have been like how FCW was run during the Corny booking years. If a wrestlers sucks on the main roster, it was what it was, instead of "OMG I was a beast in NXT".
