Nah, it's pretty much the opposite. Gosling is the best actor in Hollywood who's never been in a single classic movie. He's always in either a good indie movie, an okay studio movie, a bad indie movie, or a meh movie. Great actor though, just needs to link up with better directors like Scorsese/Spielberg/Tarantino/Mann/etc.

While I don't like Blade Runner 2049 it's gonna go down as classic. La La Land is a maybe, to early to tell. It could be forgotten like Chicago. But Drive is 100% a classic.

His biggest classic is The Notebook, that film will be watched by so many girls in their teens and divorced women who watched close to it release for the next 20-30 years.
