Absolutely not. Batista from January 2005 to June 2005 was more over than Reigns ever was or ever will be (by June, Cena had overtaken him, which is part of the reason why they switched brands). Nothing more to say about it, really.

According to Meltzer, Lesnar (by his calculations, Lesnar was the biggest money draw of any wrestler in 2003). Also remember that SmackDown was on basic cable back then as well, so significantly more people were watching it as opposed to RAW. But we all know who WWE thought the bigger draw was, or rather should be.

I watched one of those lil wrestle nerds videos like 2 months back. He was bro.

I think for a couple idk how long months, years? Dave was drawing in more than cena supposedly and was doing so without Vince’s help behind the scenes or something along those lines. It led to them fully embracing him. His merch was matching or outselling johns for a point too.

Nah, personally I can’t compare cats from this era to those pre PG era. Wrestling watered down imo, so makes it hard to really evaluate companies & wrestlers true potential and worth
