How do you hate on the album with 3 Kings, Triple Beam Dreams, Sixteen, Diced Pineapples, Amsterdam, Hold Me Back, So Sophisticated, Ten Jesus Pieces, Ashamed, 911? Shyt is arguably his best album. :mindblown:

the only song I liked on GFID was Pirates, Triple Beam Dreams was also good but that was on Rich Forever so that don't count :yeshrug:

His career just hit the 10 year mark....Ross had a run that most rappers would envy imo.

Is he on the downside? Of course, but he's still a name and still can push decent units.

It blows my mind that Hustlin is 10 years old tho....I think Ross's issue is that he became stagnate after Teflon Don which was a great album.

I enjoy his work with Justice League and Cool N Dre a whole lot more....even the runners with those cheesy ass organs lol

TELL THEM p*ssy CRACKERS THEY CAN GO AND GET THE DOGS
:dj2:

I don't think it's over yet :ld:
I actually enjoyed Mastermind and Hood Billionaire they weren't flawless but they were solid projects.
Ross clearly puts a lot of thought into how he structures his albums/songs and it shows in everything.
I think even if Rap ceases to be a thing he'll make a bunch of revenue from, he'll continue to drop quality
music.

Now that Ross's run is likely over, can we say he dropped classics?

Do ya'll still love hearing this song? Arguably one of the most famous trap records ever

He has had a great run

I hate this era though how yall let artist linger around

I love that 90s shyt when you released one or two albums & your :camby:, especially with R&B artist. Most artist only have a couple of quality albums in them anyway. Ross managed to create 3 that I like & exceeded my expectations

his run was better than most from 2006 to currently 2015.

Rick Ross dropped his first LP at age 30. When most rappers have dropped their debut like around 17, 18 or even some-point during their 20's.

He's 39 now.

Proof rap ain't a "young mans game". People said he was done when the 50 Cent beef was cracking and is now selling more records than him. :troll: Mastermind, Hood Billionaire's sales combined sold way more than some "Animal Ambition". :troll:

first off...don't stan for Ross, brehs. all you talkin "his run ain't over yet" - get serious. this is hip-hop. you can't be hot forever. and you shouldn't.

that being said, Ross had an amazing run. you won't find a mainstream rapper with that kind music. don't post Curly Woodface shyt either, mad repetitive crap for damn near 15 years, ain't nobody got time for that. Jigga lame without hype and marketing. Who else? Kanye is another category.

Ross had 2+ CLASSIC hip-hop joints on each album. Club bangers or shyt to ride out to....every album. He shytted on Curly's drama attempts, came back with dope music, which is a foreign territory for Curly.

And to all you "he just had an ear for beats".........go out there young lions....go out there in the music business and make them millions, given that it's just a matter of picking out dope beats. Don't forget your Coli brehs once you strike rich. Drops us a post or two every 6 months.

:comeon:

Ross had a great career, in the mainstream category in past 10-15 years, among the best. I salute.
