and you encouraging people to eat healthy you think they are going to buy 10 bananas instead of a burger, fry and Nuggets for $3?
As I said, Until healthy food becomes as convenient, cheap and taste as good as the processed, fried fast food.
No chance at people eating healthy
Youre a fukking moron.
You can't be this simple:
I'm not encouraging people to do anything. I got my own problems on that front.
Stop moving the goal post. First it was cost, now you throw in taste and convenience. You have a better argument using that than cost.
Thank you.it's tough man. yea there's more education out there now but it's hard to avoid it. these sugars and these preservatives are in EVERYTHING now... and i think a lot of people are just ignorant to it.
when it comes to the fast food, or the frozen foods, or the sugary drinks... i think a lot of people's attitude is just "well how bad can it be". and honestly i understand where they're comin from cause these foods are soooo readily available. it's hard to believe that the iced tea drink on the shelf can be hazardous to your health.
and sadly the standards for these companies are never gonna be raised. look at smoking. it's not like we ever succeeded in getting the tobacco companies to stop selling cigarettes. the best we could do is just educate the public and hope that we as a collective move on from them. the same is gonna have to happen with this garbage food.
Thank you breh, I know these stuck up nikkas in here have a negative reaction everytime I disagree with themThis is my opinion, you go to the grocery store and hit the frozen food section. You have all types of pot pies, hot pockets, burritos, and frozen dinners. If you're shopping at a Walmart then most of those items will be $1-$2, 3 for $5, BoGo, etc and the majority of people will go after that stuff especially if they have kids to feed as well. The shelf life is way past that of fresh fruit and vegetables and in today's world, a kid can just throw what they want in the microwave as opposed to the busy parents or single parent who doesn't have(or doesn't make) time to cook for their children.
It boils down to convenvience. That convenience plays a factor in fast food as well. A parent is tired after a long day at work or whatever and doesn't feel like cookin then that drive thru for the kids starts to look mighty tempting. Sure they could save money by going to a grocery store and getting something but it'll cost time as well, which can sometimes be a huge factor when making these food choices.
