This and HOSPITALS. Its ridiculous.

i dunno what hospitals u referring to but the one i work at is very strict with foods. Each patient has their own diet given by the doctor and i can tell u none of them are bad for your health at all. Matter of fact, most meats they serve are white meats freshly cooked

Over here (england) the food in hospitals is atrocious. I've heard the healthcare over in the states is A LOT better though.

I think it really comes down to our generation being far more lazy, as a result of the convenience that technology has brought us. People are aware, they just don't want to take the time to prep a proper meal when unhealthy options are far more convenient.

The lobbyist behind these food conglomerates help contribute to that IMO.

The problem is that kids are too sedentary. Blame technology. Most kids would rather be on xbox or social media than go outside.
If you're :flabbynsick: as a kid, there's a really good chance you'll be :flabbynsick: as an adult.

Whereas kids who are active/play sports are more likely to continue being active as they reach adulthood.

I have my bad eating habits. I won't lie but I have far more good eating habits. Just like anything in life it's all about moderation and balance. I like a lot of bad shyt but I know better then to survive off it.

But really, the most absurd aspect of this is that we're force feeding it to children as SCHOOL LUNCHES. School districts sign deals with companies like Arby's, Pizza Hut, etc to provide lunches....but they're providing unhealthy, highly processed garbage. And kids wash it down with a nice 20oz Coke :snoop:

As someone who cares about what they eat and pays attention, it's kind of infuriating.
There are drastic changes being made at the elementary and middle school levels, but I was just at my old high school recently and there's still vending machines full of junk food and soda :snoop:.

I agree with a lot of the stuff in here though. Either people think its all fake BS propaganda or they just dont think it will hurt them. The problem is that these foods wont make you sick right away in fact you might like just as long as a person eating all organics. So thats a go to argument, but what people fail to realize is quality of life. A lot of older people today have to make weekly trips to the doctor for different types of medicine and its not by accident.
People also try eating healthy for a couple of weeks and say they didnt feel any different. When you eat unhealthy for that long it might take months before you start to notice how great your body feels with proper nutrition. I dont think many people will give it that long:yeshrug:
:whew: a lot of great points in here being made, I'm so proud of my informed coli fam:to:

But honestly from extensive research, the simplest way I can define the health epidemic in a nutshell, is a self perpuating system, which openly endorses profits over people, quantity of life over the quality of life.

I'd really love to divulge into the complex geo and domestic politics which help govern the status quo, but I hate typing out extremely long, lengthy and concise narratives...

i feel you..but it aint just lazyness...its also economics. a broke mutha fukka can fill their stomachs much more with dollar menu garbage than some healthy food. fresh produce aint cheap these days, mcdouble's are tho. . and it aint just that, a fukking 16 oz bottle of pop cost more than a 16 oz bottle of water...wtf is that?!?! it dont even make sense. the whole food system seems to be designed to push the bullshyt and make it harder for the people trying to do the right thing

No ... people have to eat everyday and a fast food while avoidable is frequently tasty and convenient, every once in a while isn't so bad. Cigarettes are completely unnecessary and contain no nutrients.
