Hence the reason why we are discussing. Parents should rear their daughters better to stop being sexually active so young. Abstinence should be more heavily encourage by both the parents and community. Parents should be aware of who their kids are hanging out with, girls get influenced by their friends bad behavior. The parents and community should discourage such activity when ever it's seen.

Parenting in the Black community is piss poor. It's a science and most are not prepared for the job.
There will always be predators, scam artists, pedophiles, etc. ready to do our children harm. It's up to parents to equip kids with all the knowledge necessary to succeed.
So many excuses are made in the Black community. When, in reality, a lot of our problems could be solved if we simply chose better mates and took parenting seriously once kids are produced.
We do a poor job or selecting mates and don't actively plan for children and are hence terribly unprepared when it's time to serve as a parent.
In 2016, we should make a community commitment to:
1) Get better at selecting mates
2) Work to become better parents
I can guarantee you the community would transform itself if we improved upon those two things.

The title of the thread comes off as if the black community has uncontrolled pedophilia in large numbers compared to other racial communities. Also I'm tired of black people going online to discuss personal things dealing with the black community. If you want a real discussion then do that in person at community centers and outreach programs not online for anyone to read and make judgement's about black people from it. This thread is doing more harm than good.
Of course it's prevalent in our community you see dudes expose themselves on here all the time. If they aren't thirsting over the likes of Kylie Jenner, Obama's daughters or that underaged teenager Tyga allegedly texted they're making "if she 14 I'm 14" jokes.
One thing I will say is we need to stop absolving some of these 16/17 year old high school girls of all blame and coddling them when boys off the same age aren't afforded the same sympathy. Some of those girls aren't "victims" in the traditional sense of the word, they actually know what's right & wrong.

Being 100...a hundred years ago...a girl could be married off by the age of 15. And she wasn't married off to no 16 year old youngster either.
All this to put in perspective this problem of older men, going after younger women. Is it simply natural? Really, what benefit does a young woman get by marrying a young man her age? In this world of economics, when a young man isn't established and can't adequately provide for a family.
I'm not arguing FOR these relationships, just showing some of the reasons why.

I seen it both ways working in high school. I know high school girl seniors who target freshman, sophmore. One girl told me the younger dude have more stamina during sex. Senior guys target the freshman girls the first week of school. We do our best to keep them out of the freshmen halls but you know they get to them anyway. And then they do expose videos (which are illegal but these idiots don't care) of these freshmen sucking them off.
As far as older men, younger girls. It's basically these dudes playing the father role in their lives. THey love that he got money, a car and they gladly give him sex. But in a lot cases, these dudes will ask or in some cases blackmail these chicks, into banging their mans. And if they don't then they dump them. These girls actually think they're in control, when it's actually this old dude (30-40's) in control.
We had a situation some years ago when one of our high school girls was getting used by one of these older dudes. Had her in rap videos shaking it and everything. Well, my boss confronted the dude and for legal purposes I won't say what he did. Let's just say he got the message that if he didn't leave her alone.... She got rescued, got her life together and is now an attorney in ATL.
Bottom line, these young girls need men to play the father roles in their lives. Having uncle or positvie role models who will give them the attention they need but ain't trying to hit. Though my goal is to reach young Black males, I have plenty of young girls who hang around me at my school because they just male attention. And with some of them, they'll actually listen. Of course, a lot won't and just lost. And when you give them that attention without being a pervert you have their ear. Can't save everybody of course.
