Pedophilia, hebephilia or ephebophilia, I don't care what you call it. Adults having sex with children is wrong. There's no sense in splitting hairs are trying to play word gymnastics. Adult/child relationships should not be allowed.
If we're going to talk about an issue let's keep it 100.
You do NOT look at an adult molesting a 3 year old the same way as a 14 or 15 year old having sex with an adult. Are both situations wrong? Of course. But don't try to lump everything into that one box .It's more complex than that.

I'm curious are you combating paedophila in real life, or are just offering commentary?

Are you protecting children through education, providing legal assistance, and any other assistance to victims who have been molested as children and silenced from speaking out or seeking proper assistance because religious leaders or family members? If you people are really serious about preventing children from being molested or raped I know want to know measures you are taking besides addressing it on an Internet forum.

Yes, especially since I went through it myself I know how it feels when you feel like you can't say anything. The responses in this thread are a HUGE reason why.

Anything else?

Are you okay?

The guy comment you responded to talked about how those numbers are likely skewed because of all of the black pedophiles that get away with their crimes and that the number of black pedophiles in jail SHOULD be much higher, you responded to that with ":krs:hell yeah lets create more criminals out of thin air and lock even more nikkas up", and I respond to that with "what do you think should be done with them?"(them being the black pedophiles that are harming children). Are you following the conversation now? This was about black pedophiles that get away with their crimes.
we could say the numbers are skewed for anything

not a good argument

but it wasnt an argument, it was a statement. The argument to support that statement was 'black pedophiles get away with it'. I also forgot to say that the reason the guy you replied to had a problem with the numbers.

I forgot to add the problem the other guy(firestorm) had with the 70% is that the guy that posted about the 70% was using it to say 'the majority of pedos in jail are white! therefore the potential pedophile problem in the black community is not important to talk about'. Firestorm reminded us that using that stat to support your argument is a bad idea since many black pedophiles get away with their crimes.

They're probably the ones doing the abusing. That's the only reason why I can think someone would get upset about people talking about abuse.

Just a poor response.

I wouldn't be surprised if a majority of us black folks on this board were either outright abused or were privy to it going on in some way shape or form. This a very strong generational issue within our community and typically, when this issue does come up the immediate reaction is usually defensive period. Not sure why you're indicting folks with that broad stroke.. Some of these dudes responding might have been touched or witnessed it from an extreme vantage point and seeing some of the responses from the females on here period, I can definitely say it's a high probability as well. The mind tends to either shut out or deal with such trauma by various ways.. Easy enough is outright denial/combativeness..at worse are more serious outgrowths such as MPD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc.

It's sad because this shyt is highly prevalent in my family. My mother's side is an absolute mess with the amount of skeletons in the closet.. Example being my grandfather, molested every one of his daughters (three of them).. Very well known but never discussed.. I wanted to talk about it and I damn near got blackballed. It's one of the main reasons I went into psychiatry. shyt like this NEEDS to be addressed and the ignorance and disregard of good mental health is not helping.

No more than any other group probably, unless we're talking about how people on thecoli/people like people on thecoli want so shame white people for pedophilia/child abuse and then on the flip side act like black people don have that/do that as well because it makes them feel better.
I don't consider people legitimately not believing it's not an issue because they've bought into bullshyt the same as people just ignoring it.

Mental health and abuse in the black community (the one I'm most familiar with) in my experience have a lot more stigmas and stipulations surrounding them. You are encouraged to keep the goings on in the home in the home. We often celebrate physical abuse as good discipline. And there are still people that think things like therapy and certain psychological diagnosis are "white people shyt".

None of this is exclusive to black folk or more prevalent, but you can't be ignorant or dismissive of people's experiences when they talk about HOW it's dealt with within the community that they know and experience.

We have a no-snitching culture. so even if we don't have a higher % of criminals the no-snitching culture results in a higher % of victims before someone actually reports him thus stopping him from re-offending for a certain # of years. Instead of considering that as a factor, you were worried how the claims made bm look to white people. That is conceited and c00nish.

Man we gotta stop with that "no snitchin culture" lie because if that were really the case there wouldn't be so many nikkas locked up. nikkas get snitched on every day. nikkas be all on IG snitchin on themselves lol.

With that being said, pedo's need to be locked all the way down no if's ands or buts. They are sick in the head and they don't need anyone making excuses for em.

My only issue is the same issue I have with 99% of feminists in that they always seem to have selective outrage just like the domestic abuse or cat calling issues. They'll pounce all day on Ray Rice, R Kelly & some bruh on the corner asking for their number.

But when the vatican is out here raping their babies by the dozens while you're all in the confessional praying to cesare borgia nobody says a word. When that Lilly white feminist English teacher is fukking her 14 year old student the feminists are quiet af. When Bill O'Reilly is out here dragging his wife around the house like his Neanderthal ancestors in caves there's no "outrage". When some white construction worker talks reckless to a passing woman all the HollaBack cameras suddenly don't work.

Are you interested in knowing that information because you would like to aid in assisting us in our battle? Or are you just interested in

"exposing" us as hypocrites? I'll need to know the intentions behind your inquiry before I can offer an answer.

so you're saying the people saying sexual abuse isn't prevalent in the black community and blame the underaged girl when adult men have sex with them, are probably victims? You're saying they probably witnessed it but they're still just brushing it off because they don't want to believe it happens a lot? :dwillhuh: I'm thinking either you quoted the wrong person or you misread my post.

Can't front...I WAS recently choppin' it with a jawn and she said something that made my soul cringe and frankly, I dusted her immediately afterwards...

She not only alluded to finding my 1 going on 2 year old son, "fine" and dropped lines like, "He's a light skinned you :shaq::takedat:" but she flat out said, if I come across him when he's 18, I'ma get him. Now, It's one thing to be basic and compliment a child's features (adorable, handsome, pretty, ect) but its another to say something like that. Most will downplay it and brush it off as harmless banter...It's different for me now. I had to tell her, if you come at my kid, he gon G yo soon to be OLD @ss and you already know we take no prisoners so get your pocketbook ready! She chuckled it off but still kept talkin about he's, "Her boyfriend" and making other innuendo's regarding his potential prowess and her plans for him.

I told her, thank you for letting me know you're ok with talking like that about children. Ain't a joke clever enough for me to be cool with what you're talking about. It's all good til YOUR son gets felt up after school by a janitor or a counselor...Look forward to it. It makes sense as to why you down with blowing me in a park and you're 30 years old...Don't EVER hit this line again you future pedo hoe! That's my fault for even entertaining her...Regardless of her social status...She's a well dressed, socially established, dusty muskrat at the end of the day.

To the point, yeah, pedo behavior is unspoken but WELL known among black folks...:damn::wtf::demonic:
