Nas is Dope, But I can't overlook the few time he has Fumbled. Nastradamus made my f*cking ears bleed. I Am & Street Disiples was ehhh. So He's A Great, But not the G.O.A.T. :youngsabo::whoo::wtb:

I don't see how anyone can deny this.

Only a select group of people fukk with Nas music, Message board goers and hiphop heads from NY.

Nas is incapable of expanding his fanbase.

Everytime Jay z makes an album he picks up new fans.

Because he can make gigantic records that reach everywhere.

This is Nas only blemish and why I dont consider him GOAT.

Everyone hears music differently so you can't say Nas makes better music to someone.

Nas's biggest claim to fame is the fact that after all these years he able to get release dates for projects with no problem

When its pretty obvious no record label is budgeting around how much money they can make from a Nas album cycle.

Its a testament to his strong fanbase

i said hip hop clubs around the world not the broke ass club in your hood where they play nothing but Waka Flocka, Rick Ross and Future. you do know there is a world outside of your town right? i didn't say they would play Rewind or UBR in the club, but you must be too young to remember what Hate Me Now was like when it dropped

Hate me now was hot because of beat and Diddy running his mouth/hook. Made you look is the only other song and most neutral people forgot those words. Anybody callin nas more versatile than PAC should be bytchslapped

Myke said Nas stayed in the same lane for all his albums, which is pretty much true. he has come into his own more since God's Son and is basically making what i would call "grown man" hip hop at the moment. the SOUND of Nas albums has changed and never been the same but how he spits & what he raps about hasn't changed that much. whereas you listen to someone like Rick Ross and he has basically made the same album 4 or 5 times however many he has out. he talks about the same shyt in the same way over the same type of beats with the same features and the same concepts every time.

I literally dont see how It Was Written and Illmatic sound so different lol

They don't, and those albums will never gain Nas any new fans.

If you didn't like Illmatic you won't like IWW

You see all these Nas stans avoiding this thread
