Raiders Free agents.. we should keep and let go

Keep

1. Navarro Bowman... outside of Mack and Irvin he's the only other player on defense i want

that's it

who has to get the fukk out

1. Reggie Nelson.. even when pagano came in and change the scheme for the better, he still lost in coverage

2. Travis Carrie..i don't know how he just felled off the last 2 years.. no need to waste cash on him

3. Sean Smith.. i know the media is trying to hype up his last few games with pagano as coach, but we can save 9 million dollars next year by cutting him... and use that money for the right defensive backs.. i see minnesota have a few going to be free agents and the rams as well

4. Jano and giorgio both can hit the road... can find another decent kicker out there

5. lee smith.. trash ass tight end who always causing penalities by doing late hits

6. aldon smith... roger fukked us this year and it's been 2 years and i don't know how good he still is

7. keith mcgill.. another DB who can hit the road

8. ej manuel.. even tho he look better than carr when he played, it's time to find a real challenger for carr .....it's so many trash QBs out there, u might have to see if rich gannon is available

My muthafukkin self
All I gotta say is Peace Muthafukka, Lets get that L Sunday :blessed:

The Oakland Raiders are preparing to pursue ESPN analyst Jon Gruden with an offer so strong it could even include an ownership stake in the team, according to league sources.

Gruden will be tempted to accept it, according to sources, but would prefer not to make any decisions until the regular season finishes Sunday and the Raiders make a final determination on their current head coach, Jack Del Rio, who signed a contract extension last summer.

But Oakland long has appealed to Gruden, for a variety of reasons: He would return to an organization he didn't want to leave in 2001; he would inherit a young quarterback in Derek Carr whom he feels strongly about; and he would get to coach a team that is slated to move in 2020 to Las Vegas, where he would not have to pay state tax. Gruden's contract even could be backloaded to pay him more in the Nevada years of the deal and lessen his tax burden during the California years.

NFL evaluators make picks on Week 17's best games
We gathered a panel of NFL execs to break down the five biggest games in Week 17. Who wins Panthers-Falcons, Cardinals-Seahawks, Jaguars-Titans, Raiders-Chargers and Saints-Buccaneers?

Del Rio's agent, Bob LaMonte, also represents Gruden, leading to what one source described as "a lot of sensitive situations." Plus, Gruden has been unpredictable before, and when some thought he could make the jump to the NFL, he didn't.

But this time, Gruden would be given enough power in Oakland to be able to reshape the front office, coaching staff and entire organization, though there still are some holdovers from when he coached there.

Gruden declined to specifically comment about the Raiders.

"I don't want to sit here and speculate. ... There is no news to report," Gruden said Saturday. "I can't say I haven't taken any phone calls. I take a lot every year from coaches, some others. ... Yeah, sometimes owners. Guys want to bounce ideas off me. I'm here to help people."

Another source close to the situation said Davis always has held Gruden in high regard, from the time Gruden coached the Raiders from 1998 to 2001 until long after the time that Davis' father, Al, traded Gruden to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gruden was in the booth for his final Monday Night Football game of the season last week in Philadelphia, when the Eagles hosted Davis' Raiders.

"The owner," one source said about Davis, "has an affinity for him."

And Gruden still has an affinity for coaching. As successful as he has been as an ESPN analyst, providing color commentary for Monday Night Football and helping create Gruden's QB Camp annual specials, many around the league believed it was only a matter of time before he returned to coaching. More and more, it looks as if this is it.

Gruden recently has been calling assistant coaches around the league, trying to piece together a staff, though he has made calls in other years and never acted upon any of the opportunities that have come his way.

Just last year, the Indianapolis Colts met with him. And the Raiders have made other attempts in other years at bringing back Gruden, who still is beloved in the Bay Area.

Pegging landing spots for Gruden from year to year has become a sport within the sport, but many believe it is different this year. One source close to the situation said he expected Gruden to return to coaching in 2018. Others predicted Gruden would wind up with the Raiders.

But Gruden continues to insist that it is nothing more than talk, as there has been talk in other years about his possible return that didn't come to pass.

But this year does seem to be different. This year, there are many sources who believe the Raiders are preparing to make another offer so enticing that it will be difficult for Gruden to turn down.

MD/Gruden: Obviously, that's who MD wants. He's ready to open up @ whatever cost & yes possibly % of team. They did meet a few times @ the MNF game in Philly.Gruden has reached out to assemble a staff & not all of his old guys would be coming on board. Gruden would turn to some of the younger upcoming guys to fill rolls on the staff, IE Mcvay but in positional spots. 1 name was Gannon as QB coach. As some have pointed out this appears to be a Gruden or bust deal. If this fails, 2018 will be way worse then 2017. The players are not going to take JDR & staff seriously & could get ugly.As for RM, Davis has full trust in him & has stated RM would roll with whatever Grudens plan was & work along side of him. This does not mean that it's concrete that RM would be retained IF Gruden is hired. So, that area is a wait & see for now.

The 6: I got so much crap about this & was wondering if I should even bother. However, stories are leaking so I will list them & why. REMEMBER.. cancer was just a word I used to simplify things so use whatever discription as you see fit.
Crabtree - his sideline argument w/ Penn, lack of play down the stretch & at times me 1st attitude antics disrupted the locker room at times.
Penn- hold out did not set well w/ brass & that includes MD. His drop in play & his backing in what ML did in KC & DEN games.
Lynch- his me 1st antics(ie-his 1 gm suspension he opted to play tackle fb in pads w/ HS. yeah nothing but could have caused injury). Most notably taking the side of KC & DEN player vs his teammates truly rubbed others wrong.
Ward- constantly publicized by JDR on his lack of smarts. Go back & look @ post gm pressers. Most notably the last gm MEJ was out, JDR said Ward did not earn this playing time it was due to injuries only.
Calhoun- see Wards reasoning above.
Irvin- the KNJ firing did not set well with him & although he has played better, he has still carried that ill will against staff bc KNJ was his buddy.
JDR- has lost the locker room & players. Never held every player accountable as others & let them do as pleased w/o consequences.
Now, these players could be released, traded or have contracts reworked.Hopefully, this RS thread doesn't go sideways & again read into what you want. Just passing along things I hear. I will say this, I will be taking a back seat for a bit on these threads & just doing the DFF for awhile.

Happy New Year to all & be safe out there

Del rio lost the locker room he benched Crabtree for dropping a contested ball but didn't bench Seth for the fumble against the pats. I love marshawn but can't lie that Denver shyt rubbed me the wrong way especially after giving him a past for the K.C game
