Never won a ring as the best player, that was Kareem's team

That's why I said Lead

See...all of these corny ass bars.

So what he wasn't the leader on that squad. He was one of the greatest individual players the league has ever seen.

When you can still say you're the "Only player ever" do pull off a certain feat, you're going to be above most.

Same thing with Tiny Archibald..

Dude lead the league in scoring and asissts..:whoo:

That is some Joe Dimaggio, unbreakable record type shyt..

For me it's all about how he plays, rather than what the team accomplishes. IF he plays like he did in the 2011 Finals and wins 6 more rings while winning 70 games each year does that really prove anything? Conversely if he plays lack he did in last years playoffs for the next 10 years straight I don't see how you can deny him no matter how many rings he wins in that time.

For some reason, people lower the standard for Lebron to enter top 5 and top ten discussions.

You know the reason. He finally won a ring. I never seen a player enter the mythical top 5-10 by winning ONE ring after failing TWO times in a row.......in the middle of his career.

It has something to do with people not having the energy to debate that he was top 10 even minus the ring.

I felt he was top ten even if he didn't win one, but why argue and have to cut through the "he doesn't have a ring" garbage lazily thrown by people who put way too much stock into it?

Lebron is top 10 in my eyes and he can only go higher, but when you're having a serious debate with certain people or group the ring thing always comes up. I'm telling you this "ring thing" started back with Magic and Bird. I remember the days where being nice is meant that you were nice, nothing else. Rings are a team thing but up here it's not, so we adapt with our crowd:manny: or scroll through and :snoop:
