It proves Kyrie right about how they utilized him in the bron ball offense. They deployed him has an offensive weapon then tried to pigeohole his game.

This is also showing how dumb people were using Kyrie's pre bron record against him like those teams weren't fukking garbage. It also proves what logical people were saying about Kyrie struggling without LeBron on the court due Cleveland not being built around him
Using W-L records from when Kyrie was fukking 18-21 fresh out of college with a lottery squad around him was some of the worst LeStan propaganda I ever saw :hhh:

Hakeem, Magic, Kareem (all of whom I rank higher than Duncan), Walton, Sabonis, CP3, Yao, Brandon Roy, Curry, Kawhi, and Draymond are all players that I have regularly given real props. None of them (except Walton and Roy) were perfect, and I'm gonna call out stupid narratives about them that are used to diminish other players, but I honestly adore every one of those players and think they are/were amazing at their craft, and I defend them against their haters.

Drexler, Rodman, Shaq, Sheed, Dikembe, Bobby Hurley, Pau, Durant, Jeremy Lin, PG13, and Giannis are all guys who I've given their props, with qualifications .Probably gonna be propping Giannis up a lot bigger now real damn soon though.

Guys who I like but who I haven't said enough about probably - Isaiah Thomas, Dumars, Payton, Reggie Miller, Mugsy, Scottie, McGrady, Garnett, White Chocolate, Andre Miller, Mike Conley, Jimmy Butler, Blake, Boban, and maybe Porzingis now.

I know I'm missing people but that gotta be a pretty good list.

Understood.

Dope list of players. Lol @ Red and Roy being perfect. Sad that their careers were cut short by knee injuries. :snoop:

The only argument it pokes holes in is that Kyrie is unable to be apart of a winning culture on his own. Although Boston created this winning culture without him.

The fact remains that the Cavs were a lottery team before Lebron, and in the NBA finals ever year with him. Nothing is going to ever disprove that.

This thread gets 1 star.

People forget LeBron brought people in and that changed the makeup of that team. That said, LeBron carrying that team when both Kyrie and Love hurt should be noted how much of an impact he was.

All that said, Kyrie deserves his due. He never wanted 2nd fiddle and was merely a sophomore player entering his 3rd year at the time...nowhere in his prime. So, he never got that time to prove THEN. It even took LEBRON several seasons before able to lead a team to a finals appearance.

Kyrie's situation is similar to Kobe. Both wanted to lead their team and show and prove they can do it without that big star casting a shadow. It didn't mean to view LeBron any less from that the same way it didn't for Shaq. Shaq even won one more ring at that before Kobe. But Kobe ended up getting his and with the trajectory of this Celtics team rising and the Cavs on its last leg, Kyrie will earn his.

The only thing you can say positive about LeBron in this is that Kyrie studied his leadership and Kyrie gained finals experience which helps push this Celtics team the same it have for LeBron returning to the Cavs.

But he's not making the finals if we're being real right now. Cavs might not if nothing changes.

I got Bucks / Wizards
Why have the wizards over Celtics? What are they better at? Cs already proved last year they can outlast Wall and Beal and if Gordon comes back at even 50%, they should curb stomp Washington (assuming he can come back). Without him they should still win in 6. Wall has been full sabo mode this season

Winning cultures ain't shyt when 75% of your players, including the MVP candidate, aren't in the picture any longer

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
LeBron is a teammate killer, its been known. any player that plays next to lebron will not get their stats.

LeBron is so unselfish and passes so damn much, yet his all-star teammates always drop off in performance,

:jbhmm:
But Kyrie had slightly better numbers last year with LeBron compared to this year without LeBron :why:

I mean Otto was a Top 30-40 type regular season player and disappeared when it mattered in that series. It was literally just those two and Morris flashes. That just isn’t enough against that Boston system where any player can hurt u (as they saw in G7).
