the ether
Wiggins averaging 16 shots/game on 51% TS% while Towns only getting 14 shots/game on 65% TS% should have been reason enough to dump Wiggins before the trade deadline.

Any Wolves brehs able to explain to me why Thibs doesn't play Towns and Dieng together more often?

He could be the defensive stopper to make up for Towns's issues in that area, and I feel like he would progress more with more minutes. Unless "The Old One" is already having an Ibaka-like early regression.

Beginning to think that Thibs just isn't a great coach. Clearly modern offense has passed his defense by and the offense is excellent almost strictly because of the individual talents. He doesn't play his bench, isn't developing young guys and his rotations drive everyone that watches the Wolves crazy. I really can't point to anything that he's bringing to the table as a coach at this point. As soon as they lost Butler they reverted back to a .400 team even though they have his hand picked vets, Towns who's a legit All Star and Wiggins who is a nice offensive player

Shaq called him out last night for being too slow and allowing defenders to close space on him.

The talent is clearly there and he’s a few small tweaks in his game (offensively, anyway) from being really dominant.

Barkley did make some decent points about Towns needing to learn when to “play big” and also when to adapt to the floor. Just because a coach’s play calls for you to get to the corner for a 3 doesn’t mean you can’t stop short of floating out there if you’re open 4 feet from the basket

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Struggling on offense for a first time in the playoffs isn't surprising.

What just doesn't make sense about Towns is his defense, he was a better defender as a rookie than he is today. That was the main reason he was drafted first, because he was pegged as being a two way player, and he shows flashes of it at times but Thibs has somehow made him worse. He was a good interior defender at Kentucky, but I'm starting to think that's cause WCS was there to hide him.

He also doesn’t have Kevin Garnett to bust his ass whenever he is lazy on the defensive end.

Maybe Garnett’s influence is overstated but I dunno...
