That wasn't a trilogy and I blame the lameness of the fights on Hop. In both fights he would come on late. He could've easily took that boy to school.

He did the same shyt with Pascal in the first fight. And if he would've boxed instead tryna brawl in the 12th against Pascal, he would've won.

He's one of my favorites but he does that, takes too many rounds off against quicker oponents. He has learned, his first fight in his alien gimmick he started early. Too old to lose rounds, look busy.

I always wonder why hopkins and toney never fought each other

if they did it would have been in the early 90s but it would have been a very small window...when toney was middleweight champ, bhop was fighting at 168.and when bhop went to middle , toney went up to 168
