Is Jerry Seinfeld the biggest one hit wonder?

Seinfeld was co written and created by Larry David. Who has showed for the past 11 seasons, he can make the exact same show without Jerry.

But what has Jerry done outside of that to be revered the way he is. He never did any other shows. Only movies he ever had a major part in was Bee Movie which was terrible and flopped. He’s a comedian but does he have any classic sets? Even a classic joke?

but if you told people Seinfeld is a wack comedian, they’d burst into flames.

Who else had a hit like that and nothing else and is held in such high honor. Not Ray Romano for sure.

He was offered serious bags for years and years to do another sitcom but decided he'd rather watch Seinfeld reruns be sold for millions...

I mean one hit wonder in what way? He actually stepped away from Seinfeld (they offered him 5 million an episode for the last season) went away had a family came back did an animated movie that made double the budget and was successful again with Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee which Netflix gave him another 100 million. Not to mention the money (440 million) he's gotten from reruns of Seinfeld. He doesn't have to do shyt. If you consider that a one hit wonder then yea I guess so.

Seinfeld was more than a one hit wonder, he literally had THE hit of hits, and pretty much just coasted from there. Can’t even hate on this.

no its was created by Larry David AND Jerry Seinfeld
They get the same percentage of backend
There's no Curb without Seinfeld so to say Larry would have been successful without Jerry's influence is foolish
Hollywood has begged Jerry to comeback for 30 years and he said nah I'm good

I always took Jerry as someone who knew Larry was the driving comedic force behind Seinfield and just being smart enough to not embarrass himself after the show as over by trying to do another comedy show without Larry.

Larry came back did Curb which is basically a better Seinfield than Seinfield and proved he is the man with the actual voice and talent.
