Some of yall people are idiots.

So if i sing "Silent Night" it means im religious? If i sing "Dead Wrong" does it mean im a crazy serial killer? Im an athiest but i say Merry Christmas on all the cards i send out, its just part of the season.

Sometimes people do things to comfort others. I dont believe in God but if someone asks me to pray with them to help them get through some tough times, you know what, i do it. What i look like going to someones funeral and making a scene trying to prove something.

i mean if your singing about religious things thats probably what your into and that goes for other styles of music as well


if your going to blaspheme and denounce religious things at any other time of your life what are you really doing trying to comfort somebody expect using their religion like a pacifier to stop them from crying or whining? its basically treating grown people like children and that isnt real respect

See thats the thing, i dont go around denouncing religion. I keep my beliefs to myself. If i go to a funeral and the pastor asks everyone to bow their heads for a prayer, i see no reason as to why i cant just bow my head. Its not hurting anyone for me to do that and it doesnt bother me one bit.

So while the family is saying prayer over Thanksgiving dinner im supposed to be sitting at the table chowing down? Only an a$$hole would do something like that.

you yourself personally might not feel bad bowing or praying while everyone else is to fit in but at the same time you dont have to do it either and thats not saying you have to grab a peice of the buzzard first and start chowing down but you dont have to involve yourself in the prayer either you can just wait

But I do agree that you want to hold on to something higher when sh1t hits the fan, seems to be human nature for most people. I personally hate that sh1t. Why not be that way all the time, and hope that God or whatever leads you to better times.
