They were never really THAT good to begin with, it's kind of funny how the New Japan bubble has started to burst as more people are actually seeing people wrestle instead of just hearing about them or seeing a "best of" compilation. The only great worker The Bullet Club had was AJ.

Another thing working against Gallows and Anderson is that there's another tag team that works a similar style and do it 100x times better than them (and do more compelling shyt) in The Revival. That's why I kinda get them wanting to go another direction with the team but it's clearly not working. They are more suited to be in a stable and interact with a group instead of just doing their own shyt as a tag.

They also joked around in NJPW as far as I see (though they don't do long promos segments like in wwe ) they weren't really bad asses they usually Won with fukkery or in matches with people going to be real outside of the shenanigans were puro fans really fans of their Matches ? Like you said machine gun was loved for being great Inring and being there for years but if wwe flipped the tag titles as much as NJPW did with them people woujd be like

Exactly I was confused when people were like ohh they lost a match they should be booked as unstoppable killers when they weren't booked that way in NJPW . The bullet club is kind of a joke stable ( after Devitt left ) besides AJ . They woujd just beat up red shoes and do shenanigans and make corny jokes to pop each other . It worked cause they were in on the joke but they weren't meant to be some LOD type team . Suzuki- gun are the bad asses ( i may be wrong as they could ne in Noah engaging in Jeff Jarrett style tomfoolery)

I mean, I honestly don't believe he watched them more than once or twice a year in New Japan if he thinks they were some bad asses in New Japan. That's just not the case. Real puro fans were never big on Gallows/Anderson as a team in ring, and The Bullet Club wasn't everyone's cup of tea as a stable either.

You gotta realize there's a big chunk of fans that got on New Japan 3 years ago when Meltzer was pimping the shyt out of their product and it started to become more available, so there's a lot of fans that just go with what they heard Dave say and whatever compilation on youtube they could find, so their perception on a lot of things is flawed or just plain wrong.

AJ going to Smackdown may have been the worst thing to happen to Gallows and Anderson.

The best thing that ever happened to AJ though. I think they were low key dragging him down.

Man, it comes across like there using material that is either from the writers or there using stuff that they think Vince would like...overall it's just corny and uninspired. They would benefit by moving to SD Live.

Hell no.

Keep them on RAW because they'll drag AJ down with their corniness. AJ works best alone. They tried pairing him up with Jericho and that was alright, but AJ works best solo.

If we're being honest, Gallows has been a bust everywhere. Dude has been consistently terrible since Festus, yet is for some reason still getting chances on the biggest promotions in the world.
