Is it too early to say that Gallows and Anderson have been a bust in the WWE?

I think their gimmicks when it comes to their fued with the new day is them tryna 1up their comedy game. I think they're purposely not funny.:yeshrug:

The tag team division for neither of the brands are lit. When's the last time we've actually had a good tag team rivalry on the main roster?:dame:

ALL of them have bombed. If you're going to be comedic characters at least be good at it.
Them playing doctors and the balls jokes was actually decently over with the audience. It only 'bombed' with TSC because most of you all want them two to be pure bad asses, no jokes.

Tonight they took a bit of a left turn but just like how they attacked the Dudleys, they can easily remind the audience they are forces to be reckon with.

To call them 'busts' is pure TSC silliness.

Nah. Bad writing and bad creative has done them in for now but when they're them they're still good. They're far from Lord Tensai/Sin Cara/Ultimo Dragon level of flop

There's less focus on the tag team division than what they had in Japan in general plus Karl is the star of the two and he hasn't had close to as many solo chances to shine as someone as good as him should get.

It's weird. That Raw where they retired the Dudleys looked like it was going to be turning point in their character as they were going to be serious if they wanted to beat New Day for the titles since they didn't at SummerSlam and the response seemed to be good. Then they went back to the comedy route the past two Raws and it just wasn't felt by the crowd. I'm not going to say they're total busts, but they're not meeting my expectations. I don't think they're a lost cause though. They can always pair them up with AJ again or Finn (as friends or foes) and that will probably boost them up again.

They're fine. You guys overreact too much if every single wrestler doesn't follow the trajectory you had planned.

Them doing comedy skits (even though tonight's bombed) isn't incapable of making them remind people they are bad asses should they have to again.
Plus they weren't the bad ass nwo in NJPW that people seem to think they were . They won sure but participated in a lot of fukkery as well ( see their feud with the kingdom and dancing and getting hypnotized by Maria's ass) , I wouldn't be suprised if they like this stuff as they have this type of humor on their podcast talking shop . But to remind people they weren't brain busters 2.0 they were pretty close to this portrayal . Most people seemed to complain about Anderson being wasted with gallows .

its the booking fakkits fault

they shoulda put them with aj and finn balor as a badass stable, instead they wanna leave finn in nxt purgatory while they job to the usos/reigns, then call balor up but leave him away from gallows/anderson, split aj away from them, and give balor a monster push that resulted in a injury that leaves him out for months:pacspit:

They also joked around in NJPW as far as I see (though they don't do long promos segments like in wwe ) they weren't really bad asses they usually Won with fukkery or in matches with people going :yeshrug: to be real outside of the shenanigans were puro fans really fans of their Matches ? Like you said machine gun was loved for being great Inring and being there for years but if wwe flipped the tag titles as much as NJPW did with them people woujd be like :stopitslime::francis::upsetfavre:

The thing is they weren't a bad ass tag team like say the dudleys ( the bubba/dvon team ) they engaged in a lot of fukkery which stood out in Japan because it doesn't happen there often in America it's common place
