This is the definition of self-sabotage. Guy comes into RAW red hot, gets immediately pushed to the top, takes down the two biggest players on the show, and then gets injured. When he comes back, he's immediately put in shytty feuds, loses more matches, and is never presented as anything more than just another guy on the roster. That's the problem. When he first came to RAW, they treated him like the next big thing, some mythical creature that was capable of anything. They took away his mystique and his aura by just turning him into everybody else.

It's over for him on RAW (no pun intended). The fact that he was in line for a Universal Championship match and Vince decided to :camby:him was clear proof of that. The only way he can be salvaged is by moving him to SmackDown. He was literally in the main event picture for a month, so we really don't know if he can handle himself in high-profile feuds. If he does get a shot at the Universal Championship after WrestleMania, or he starts mixing it up with main event guys on SmackDown and he fails, then we can say he flopped.

He can be saved if they draft him to SD.I'm not saying he will instantly become world champion, but surely he would be in a better position
Until that, lots of meaningless feuds for him.The fact that he is not facing Brock because Vince thinks he's not ''over'' says it all.
But who will be over after jobbing to Kane?

They need to move him to Smackdown. Put him in the US title scene for a while.

They've kept him stuck in purgatory for so long. He's still over, and the Demon (which is the most important aspect of his character) is still a big deal with the crowd. They just need to get him out of his purgatory they have him in.

I really wonder what would have happened if he didn't get injured and was still champ going into all the Goldberg/Brock fukkery.

Nah... but something's gotta change. Whether that's moving over to SmackDown, or at least going for the IC title, anything right now would put him in a better spot than he is. I assume he's got a feud with Miz coming up, maybe that'll help.

Honestly tho', I know they wanna keep this Demon thing to a minimum or for special matches... they might wanna consider having him do that full-time. It's way more marketable, gets way more over with the crowd, and makes him more than 'guy with a leather jacket who has some cool moves'

He's never lived up to IWC hype for me. I think he's kind of boring and he cut can't a promo. He seems over only about half the time, depending on the town they are in.

To me, he's a flop, and if they are considering him for 205 Live, that's a wrap on his main event potential.

Even if he hadn't been injured, I think he'd still be in the same position he is now. He's not interesting and the demon character is literally nothing more than facepaint. They don't do anything to make that alter ego standout, which is a shame because that could save him on the main roster.

He can be salvaged but he needs to go to SD or turn heel and form The Club with the Good Brothers. He might have to do both like Sami.

I just don't think Vince sees him as a face of the company champ anymore though and it doesn't help that he's not homegrown. I think brehs from TNA, ROH, Japan and Mexico are going to have to be alright with peaking at the midcard as long as the Performance Center produces some decent talent.
