Is it safe to say Maidana ruined Broner?

He'll soon come out and claim how much he's changed and is taking boxing more seriously, then beat a coupla bums, revert back to his clown antics and go right back to ppv status.

He'll inevitably get beaten again. Rinse and repeat.

Broner has the talent but doesn't have the mindset or discipline. If he wasn't so damn gun-shy and let his hands go, he would be elite.
This is pretty much what i came to post. He has all the ability in the world but like Zab Judah he can't seem to find the mental fortitude to put in all together. They want to be Floyd and make the bread that he does but how many of them want to actually work hard on their craft the way that he does too? It's a selective few who have that in them.

Top level troll. Sad he fell off.

"Since everyone says I'm picking my opponents, Imma let ya'll pick and whoever got the highest percentage I'm fighting"

That didn't workout as well as he hoped.:mjlol:

He hit his ceiling before the Maidana fight...B- level fighter at his absolute peak.

His perceived talent, skill level and potential has always been overstated. He only looked so good at 130 and 135 because he was so much bigger than everybody in those weight classes after the weigh in...once he lost his ability to impose his size advantage and physicality as he moved up in weight...he started to look average.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Broner is interesting because he’s nowhere near as talented as people hype him up to be, but given his paltry boxing IQ he basically fights off pure ability. Broner simultaneously is talented; yet, isn’t AS talented as people claim. He’s not a generational talent. With that being said, I think given the fact he has no real gamelan or strategy in a fight and does nothing to setup punches or create openings, he’s accomplished a lot for a dude that just gets in the ring and fights.
